The Farm to Institution Summit is a first-year conference that will bring together leaders from the Northeast who are working to get more local and regional food into schools, colleges, health care and other institutions. Please join us — and up to 800 other farm to institution advocates — for three exciting days of learning, sharing, exploring and connecting.

The event will convene representatives from institutional facilities, along with their food supply chain partners and farm to institution advocates, to maximize collective impact and overcome challenges to buying more local food. The conference will feature three sector-specific forums for farm to school, farm to college and farm to health care, plus a full day of cross-sector workshops, sessions, speakers, activities and more!

Objectives

The summit is designed to identify issues that cut across the sectors and the region, highlight important successes and achievements in farm to institution in the region, develop collaborative strategies to pursue, inspire and engage participants on important and challenging work, and show connections between sectors, states, and supply chain stakeholders. Summit conveners believe that we are better together — working collaboratively strengthens each of us and increases our ability to make a positive difference.

Register by March 10th to save $20 per day. Early bird registration costs $75 for one day, $140 for two days or $200 for three days. We’re excited to offer a special rate of only $40 per day for farmers, students and AmeriCorps service members. Full scholarships are also available.
