Good food that’s good for us — we all want it. How can we make sure it’s available? What’s the community’s role?

Panel participants will examine the relationships between communities and agriculture. What are the mutual benefits and challenges? If our community wants actively to support and promote both existing and new or expanded sustainable agriculture operations, how best can we do that? There will be ample time for audience questions and discussion.
 
Panelists sharing their expertise will include: Dorothy Suput, Founder and Executive Director of The Carrot Project; Jen Hashley, Project Director of New Entry Sustainable Farming Project; Ari Kurtz, farmer and co-owner of Lindentree Farm in Lincoln, an organic CSA farm; and Laura Sapienza-Grabski, member of the Boxford Ag Commission and President, Massachusetts Association of Agricultural Commissions.
