Getting Started with Quickbooks: Part 2, Expenses and Sales

March 26, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

The Carrot Project and Julia Shanks Food Consulting are offering a webinar series on QuickBooks and farm accounting. QuickBooks is the industry-standard accounting software. At a minimum, it’s a robust, digitized system for balancing your checkbook. At its best, it can help you understand your business and make effective managerial decisions based on your economic reality.

In Part 2 of the series, with a basic understanding of QuickBooks, we will delve a little deeper into  its capabilities.  The hour-long webinar will cover:

1. How to use the “pay bills” function to better manage cash flow.

2. Setting up the credit card function to better track expenses.

3. How to use classes and customer functions so that you can better understand the profitability of different customers and sales channels.

4. How to track and manage inventory.

The  webinar will be recorded and posted to our website with Julia’s slides following the presentation.
